The Value Engineering Online Certification Course

Description: The purpose of this group is to keep Arabic architects, engineers, and construction managers updated to, our present project to translate from English language our value engineering methodology online course into the Arabic language. The Value Engineering Online Certification Course is provided free to all accredited universities with a school of architecture or engineering. The funding for faculty use is provided by the sale of textbooks and fees for training provided to government agencies, corporations and individuals.  Mr. Alphonse J. Dell'Isola, PE, RICS, FSAVE long recognized worldwide as, the earliest pioneer of Value Engineering for the construction industry is credited for introducing, the first Value Engineering Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, when the Ministry of Defense and Aviation awarded him a 2 year contract in 1986 to create, organize, and direct their highly successful program that, resulted in the first individual professional certifications for, private Arab practitioners as, Certified Value Specialists (CVS) in the Middle East.

The Value Engineering Online Certification Course website went online in 1999, and one of the first international students to enroll in our course, was from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our Arab country affiliated training partner program has grown, and today includes partners from Kuwait, UAE, and Egypt

Mr. Dell'Isola, The Society of Japanese Value Engineering (SJVE), and SANNO Institute of Management in a joint effort to advance his expert knowledge of, the value engineering methodology into the Japanese language have successfully translated his online course textbook, Value Engineering: Practical Applications into Japanese.

Our next endeavor is, to advance Mr. Dell'Isola's expert knowledge of, the value engineering methodology into the Arabic language for, The Value Engineering Online Certification Course.

Developmental phases of the Arabic version includes the following:

1. Phase: English translation to Arabic language of all online course materials by, October 2008.

2. Phase: English translation to Arabic language of course textbook by, October 2009.
